I have just finished reading staringatthesky’s The Beginning of Always and am pretty smitten. It’s a medieval version of Twilight, similar but not quite the same and so very well done. Why don’t you give it a go, too?

Hey Guys!
I’ve been looking for this fic for so long and I hope that you guys know the name! Here goes:
Bella and Edward have been together for years. They have two sons. Edward keeps asking Bella to marry him and she keeps rejecting him. She’s scared to marry because of her parents failed marriage. Edward finally gets sick of being rejected and leaves Bella and goes to stay with Alice. Bella is obviously distraught. One weekend while the boys are with Edward, Bella decides to go through heir home video collection. She finds a early video of her pregnant with their first child and she’s teasing Edward of why she’ll ever marry him. With this he replies, “She loves me too much to say no.” Bella realizes it makes no sense NOT to marry him and goes to him proposes to him! With that, they get married and their oldest son delivers their wedding speech.
This story is a one-shot.
I know the entire story, but I can’t remember for the life of me the NAME!
PLEASE HELP ME. I AM DESPERATE!

And the last detail that I remember from this story is: Bella is invited to their family dinner as usual and Alice ends up throwing mashed potatoes at Bella! Hopefully this will jog someone’s memory!!

I totally recommend Soul Quest

Edward Masen does all he can to protect his little sister. When he gets involved with the wrong people, will the most least likely person he knows be his saving grace? Will Edward be able to find his way back into his body? Will he be able to be there for his little sister and Bella, or will he be too late to save anyone? All Human with a supernatural twist.
This author has already a bunch of good stories here, this one even with the angst it keeps you interested the whole, is just 16 Chapters but is wonderful, hopefully this one gets soon here.

One of the best fics I’ve ever read is “A Darker Moon” by Flaming Maple. It is criminally under-reviewed and I noticed it hasn’t been featured in your blog. She published and completed it (11/2017) so quickly that I think a lot of people missed it. Please give this story a shout-out because a lot of canon junkies like me would love it!
